Press Release Author = Shirley Morris - Chroma Graphic Communications

Industry = Education

Press Release Summary = Issaquah, WA. January 24, 2006. Entrepreneur creates TV
style autobiographies so people can leave
lasting memories for many generations to
come.

Press Release Body = Every family has a storyteller. First
the stories were told around a
campfire, then the kitchen table.
With time came
written memoirs,
diaries, scrapbooks, all
treasured family
keepsakes. Today,
thanks to many great
advances in technology,
Grandma and Grandpa
can pass on the family
history by making the
same type of video
autobiography that until recently
had only been available to the rich,
famous and infamous.
Who Gets The Family Photo
Album? Video Biographies and Photo
Montage Makers is the brainchild of
Shirley Morris, who believes leaving
behind your family legacy will be
equally as important to other families
as it has been to hers.
Morris created her first video out of
a need to preserve her Great Aunts
priceless memories for her family.
"We decided to take the volumes of
family photos, newspaper clippings
and old vinyl records, forgotten
about for years, and combine them
with a video interview of my Aunt.
I heard stories about my mother and
other members of my family I had
never heard before and got a real
sense of what my Aunt
and Grandmothers life
was like in the good old
days". It also preserved
the family photo album
for all members of the
family. Now if someone
wants a wedding photo
of Great Grandma and
Grandpa it's as easy as
going to your computer
and printing a copy.
The finished product is a DVD
presented in a custom case with
custom label at a surprisingly
affordable cost. Prices range from
$325 to $2000.
"My goal is to make this available
to anyone who wants to preserve the
legacy and memories of their family
history."
